Oil Engines Ltd (KOEL) is a largest diesel engine manufacturer in India.
KOEL manufactures Diesel Engines, ranging from 3 BHP to 7200 BHP. The main
applications are Generating sets, Pump sets, Construction, Mining, Marines,
Material Handling, all Filters, Tractors and Defense for support and tacticle
vehicles.
Koel
was incorporated in 1946 and has ISO-9001 certification since 1992.
Koel
has an independent R & E unit with over 30 highly qualified and experienced
engineers. It has excellent capability of designing and developing new
models, Engine bearings and Engine valves for various applications to suit
the customers requirements and expectations. The research is done in following

has large engines plant at Nashik which is located 175 Kms from Mumbai.

In
Nashik, Koel manufactures Diesel engines ranging from 2400 BHP to 7200
BHP. This plant has a total area of 40,000 Sq. meters as builtup area and
about 200 employees. These engines are manufactured in collaboration with
SEMT Pielstick France, who are the leaders in Diesel engine technology
world wide.
The
most advanced diesel technology combined with modern design concepts have
gone into the creation of Pielstick PA6 series fo engines. These engines
are unmatched for durability and performances under the most demanding
circumstances. These engines are easy to maintain and inexpensive to operate.
Quality and safety standards are built into manufacturing process, thus
making the Kirloskar Pielstick one of the finest continuous duty diesel
engines in the world. These engines have multifuel capability i.e. They
can run on Heavy Fuel, HSD, LDO & LSHS.

have fullfledged manufacturing capability at our Nashik plant.

have latest CNC machines and sophisticated inspection equipment to maintain
the high quality requirement of these Diesel engines.

have 50 years experience of manufacturing of Diesel Engines.We have the
facility to manufacture Crankcase, Cylinder Heads, Connecting Rods and
all critical components.
Two
engine test beds with Hydraulic dynamometer and seperate control panels
are available for engine testing.
All
the control panels of power plant are designed in our Control Engineering
Division which is a unique capability we have.
Ours
is a largest independent service dealer network. This comprises of 15 services
dealers and 5 area offices.
The
central service cell is at Nashik.
We
undertake customer need based operation and maintenance contracts.
